about the last confession, i just want to say that sometimes people like weak and flawed characters exactly for those reasons, because they aren’t perfect or heroic, etc. and sometimes people like those sorts of characters because they are above all else, interesting - and there’s no reason to question someone’s very being over liking a character who is weak and flawed, because there could be reasons you don’t know about, and because i personally think questioning someone’s very being based on a character is a little silly

however i don’t think it’s right to glorify winona either, she certainly isn’t the most heroic character of the show nor should she be treated as such…
